Ok, if you're here, you've probably watched my new podcast/webshow The Geek Next Door on YouTube, and followed the links. In addition to the videos, I will (generally) record an audio podcast to go with it, or just a random discussion with myself or guests. If you want to listen to them, here are the FTP instructions.
NOTE: These work for Windows only. I do not know how to connect to an FTP server on a Mac or Linux, so if someone could tell me, that would be awesome!
1: Open My Computer
2: In the address bar, type: ftp://mahimahi42.is-a-geek.com
3: When prompted, type "Guest" as the username, and leave the password blank.
4: Download podcasts are your whim =)
Also, if someone would be willing to host say 1GB or more of podcastiness, then let me know. I'd be putting the podcasts on your server, and the RSS document so iTunes can download the podcasts as they are updated. If someone is willing, e-mail me at BAD1128@gmail.com, message me on YouTube, or somehow tell me. The podcasts will always stay on the FTP server, but my have some off-time if I get a Mac.
If you want the first audio podcast on iTunes, here are the instruction (NOTE: This site is liable to go down at anytime, and ONLY the first podcast will be on here)
1: Open iTunes
2: In the Advanced tab, click "Subscribe to podcast"
3: Type http://geeknextdoor.webs.com/podcast.rss
4: Enjoy =)
